Salted Caramel Corn, Anyone?
This recipe is amazing!
1 c. Butter
1 c. Light Br. Sugar
1/3 c. Light Corn Syrup
1 1/2 - 2 tsp. Sea Salt, divided.
1/2 c. Popped Popcorn or
2 bags popped Microwave Popcorn (I used buttered popcorn)
Heat oven to 300 degrees
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Pop the corn and separate from the un-popped kernels.
Melt butter, sugar, corn syrup, and 1 tsp of salt together in medium sauce pan.
Bring to boil, boil 4 minutes on stove but DO NOT stir.
Pour over popcorn and stir to coat.
Place on cookie sheet, sprinkle with remaining 1/2 - 1 tsp salt (to taste), bake in oven 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. (I baked for 20 minutes, stirring twice and it was fabulous)
Let cool on pan.
